Ummm pop ing Gmail is kind of stupid I guess, unless you need some specific portable or gui challenged device to read mail. U loose out all the features of Gmail . Also one of the reasons I used to pop mail was to save server space.... not sooo much of a problem now. Just a quaterly trim should do. Ahhh but then there are newsgroup subscriptions.
