I totally missed out on this one. Opera 7 beta1 has been released. I downloaded the non-java version to test it out. The first thing I did was to check out XHTML sites in Opera. Update: They are displayed correctly. Stylesheet changes work correctly (like the text size change on Wired.com) unlike the previous versions. No other new features are visible other than the usual eyecandy upgrade and the navigation bar (Mozilla had that feature since long). Check out the screenshots(thumbnails). I guess there’s lot to do before a truly standards-compliant Opera comes up.
