Eat on This

Look how simple it is to be listed on the top of EatonWeb's blog list. All you need to do is insert a few dots at the beginning of your blog title. More the number of dots, more the precedence you have. I did a little bit of research and found that the order of precedence is

dots(.) > colons(:) > semicolons(;) > alphanumeric chars > underscore(_) > pipe(|)

This is only to demonstrate the problem in EatonWeb's listing. I will restore my title back to its original position in a few days. Now don't rush to EatonWeb.

Hmmm... there remains the matter of a certain rediff site.
Kribs, ya, I wondered how your ( and supersam's) entry came on top and not anywhere near K, which lead to further probing. I prefixed my entry with various characters and tried them out ... Anyway, I have sent a mail to the guys there(on EatonWeb). Hopefully, they'll care to correct it (Getting the precedence right... all with special characters should go down the list) Don't get me wrong. Sachin, I noticed that on your comp quite a few times. :-)
I'm sure you must've noticed that I has used this cheap mechanism to push my name to the top long time back . Shame on me !
i do it all the time on my HD, the flders i need most are always named witha preceding (underscore as in _fav) so that they come up on tops. Same goes for my opera hotlist! ;)
