XHTML

And finally to XHTML 1.0 Transitional. It was an enlightening experience. But still a long way to XHTML 1.1 and more so XHTML 2.0 . Well, I still have to port the archives to XHTML 1.0. I find XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.0 to be a very good combination for html pages. The source looks clean and with just the flip of your css you can change the look and layout of the site. Here are a few links and tips for your benefit, if you decide to switch to XHTML (check this link again as Ill be adding stuff here) -

Thanx, Sindhu. :-). I think one should give high importance to usability while keeping a good design. BTW, I checked out your site too. Its cool!
Deepak, We didn't actually meet. But we should do that. Why don't Mumbai bloggers meet? I see only Pune, Delhi and Chennai guys meeting up.... What do you think, Sachin?
Am all for it, there are a large number of mumbai based webloggers and a meetup should definitely be in order!

No, you will have to change the extensions manually or republish the entire blog.

i changed my blog config and republished everything, yet this is what i get when i try to access any of my new pages .. Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/xlle/public_html/ weblog/archives/000002.xl on line 1 .....any ideas???
say hostmagik does offer an easy way of adding the mime type thru its controlpanel....... but i still cant figure out how does it change the extensions on all my pages ..would have manually change it at BLOGCONFIG and then republish??

No, I have defined a custom MIME type on my server. It is an Apache directive. You'll need to login to the server and edit the .htaccess file in the root directory of web server.
Sachin, Add this at the end of the .htaccess file on the document root of Apache -
AddType application/x-httpd-php nc
